Dr. Avi Weisfogel is a widely known dentist in the New Jersey area. He has been practicing since 1999 when he graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. His practice is called Old Bridge Dental Care, which is still a prominent running practice. When he isn’t busy at his office, he spends time doing research and funding education for Dental Sleep Masters. He founded Dental Sleep Masters in 2014 to help dental offices learn more about oral appliances. He has been involved in years of research related to sleep apnea, and made it his mission to help those who have been diagnosed with the condition. Dental Sleep Masters properly educates staff on how to work the oral appliances and how they benefit the patient, keeping their airways open when they sleep. Dr. Weisfogel realizes how much of a problem sleep apnea has become, and many people are walking around undiagnosed. His time, energy and efforts have been dedicated to helping those around him get better sleep and wake up feeling more refreshed. He has also been working with sleep study clinics since 2010, when he founded Healthy Heart Sleep. The company focuses on managing and establishing sleep labs that test for sleep apnea.
When Dr. Avi Weisfogel isn’t busy with his practice or his companies, he participates in fundraisers and organizations. He has currently started a GoFundMe campaign for an organization called Operation Smile. Operation Smile started in the 1980’s, and has been going strong ever since. They are dedicated to helping children and young adolescents with their oral deformities and issues. They have raised enough money throughout the years to have completed over 200,000 surgical procedures and have traveled to more than 100 countries to do so. The foundation was originally started by two members who worked with the youth in the Philippines. They have since been able to expand their resources and their staff. They work with medical facilities in the areas where the surgery is taking place. They have treated patients with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. They believe in treating each patient as if they were their very own child.
