Tim Murawski is a medical specialist who is currently leading one of the most developed Chicago-based medical device companies, Augmedics. His senior position as President and Chief Commercial Officer has enabled the company to launch its Xvision system that uses modern technology to provide safe, fast, and easy surgeries, particularly spinal surgeries. Tim Murawski is a graduate of Western Illinois University, where he completed his four-year degree program in operations management and supervision. Mr. Murawski’s career kicked off after joining a research and development company. Here, he was enrolled for a position at the purchasing department. Tim Murawski soon shifted his career path to working in medical device sales companies. Tim Murawski’s career in sales started at Baxter International Inc, where he worked at the IV sales department.
At the said company, healthcare expert and serial entrepreneur Tim Murawski was appointed as a territory Sales Manager, enabling him to sell the company’s IV products. The IV products were essential to healthcare experts treating patients with HIV & AIDS during the 90s. In 1996, healthcare expert and serial entrepreneur Tim Murawski began working as a territory sales manager for a Cupertino-based company known as General Surgical Innovations.
He soon rose through the ranks quite fast and became the sales manager for the West region in 1998. He later joined Mazor Robotics, where he worked for approximately ten years. Tim Murawski has played a significant pivotal role in improving and developing the surgical robotics market through working at Mazor Robotics. In addition, Mr. Murawski has also worked at Hansen Medical, a medical robotics company based in California, where he undertook the vice president of sales.
