Ryan Seacrest: A Massive Broadcasting Personality

Ryan Seacrest is a famous television host, producer, and radio personality. He has hosted and worked on programs such as American Idol, On Air with Ryan, Live with Kelly and Ryan, and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. He became very well known, for his appearance on American Idol. Ryan Seacrest received Emmy Award nominations; later in 2010, he won an Emmy Award for his production of Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution. After achieving broadcasting fame, Ryan would become a sought after host for his broadcasting acumen. 

 

Through Ryan Seacrest popularity growth, he was able to lock down contracts for millions over the past two decades. One of the largest being a multi-year deal for American Idol, which made him one of the highest paid hosts for any reality based television that had been a host during mid 2009. He partnered with E! network and started interviewing up and coming celebrities on there (Twitter). 

 

Ryan biggest success, though didn’t even come until 2017, however. That is when he started Live with Kelly and Ryan. Ryan Seacrest has left his mark in broadcasting by even replacing some once known famous figures, with one of the most well known being his replacement of Casey Kasem on the hit radio program American Top 40. Ryan Seacrest would also later become the host of a morning show for the Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM, replacing Rick Dees, which had been the previous long term broadcasting host with a huge nationwide success. 

 

Ryan’s work in broadcasting has led him to be able to begin participating in philanthropy in his later life, launching the Ryan Seacrest Foundation in 2010. Continuing his charitable acts, he has also received the aid of other celebrities. In recent years, he has named people such as Selena Gomez ambassadors for his foundation. Ryan Seacrest centers quickly grew to almost a dozen in total, and can be found across the United States in cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Colorado, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. The foundation has done work with sports teams such as the Atlanta Braves, partnering with Ryan Seacrest for future broadcasting media campaigns.
