Ragnar Horn is the founder and chairman at Taconic AS; he was chosen as a new board member in two different sports marketing firms known as Visma Ski Classics and W Sports media. The latter is a famous international marketing firm that deals with sports-related items with its headquarters in Hogan, Sweden.

The firm majorly operates within and across the sports industry dealing with media distribution, global sports events, athlete representation, and international sports media productions. W Sports media is known to be the rights-holder to Visma Ski Classics, which is an international long-distance skiing cup competition.

For the last ten years, Visma Ski Classics consists of ten traditional and prestigious ski events from various countries such as Norway, Italy, and Sweden. Like any other child, Ragnar Horn started participating in cross-country and skiing at an early age; he was born in Norway and did his tertiary education in the United States. While in the University, Horn joined a competition in the American university series and skid for the first time in 1999.

However, after the studies, he moved back to Norway, and since then, cross country and skiing have become part of his daily life, mainly because his three children are all grown. Ragnar sponsors different teams, such as Ragde Eiendom, a professional ski marathon racing team; Horn has also taken part in Vasaloppet and Marcialonga races.
