Paul Herdsman: Humble Beginnings and the Future of NICE Global

Paul Herdsman has shown himself to be a successful businessman with many years of experience, and as the COO of NICE Global, perfected his skills in customer acquisition and retention. Paul Herdsman company focuses on providing customer service solutions for businesses to retain and expand their customer base. Before founding NICE Global, Herdsman worked within numerous management roles in various companies where he learned the in and outs of problem-solving skills, which has helped him tremendously today. When working outsourcing business management for several companies in 2013, it became clear that expansion was needed, and that he was needing to consider an alternative route to serve his clients the way that was needed.

This is where NICE Global was born in Jamaica, from the need and desire to help companies with customer retention and business management. Fortunately, it did not take long for Paul Herdsman and his company to start making revenue, as they already had built up a client base and an excellent support team. Like many new ventures, there were bumps along the way but Herdsman was confident in his decision and knew what needed to be done to make this a successful business venture. Even in this modern age, Herdsman still believes that word of mouth is the best way to grow your client base and strives to ensure that all clients are satisfied with the amount of service provided, thus gaining more clients in the process.

One of the biggest hurdles that Paul Herdsman has had to overcome in this new role is delegating to others, as it was difficult for him to give the burden of responsibility to others at times. He attributes his impressive success to many factors, but especially conciseness and ensuring that everyone is working smart, to cut out redundancies in their projects. Additionally, he believes strongly that the company should work as a unit with a shared goal, and that everyone’s voice should be heard.
