The Future Science Group has published it’s new type of article recently. It is aimed at helping medical patients understand things better and more clearly. The Plain Language Summaries are a way of presenting information in simple terms so that patients and people who are not of an advanced medical background will understand the research. They currently have 35 different peer-reviewed journals. The first Plain Language Summary is titled “ENLIVEN study: pexidartinib for tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT),” it focuses on a clinical trial that was previously published in another peer-reviewed medical journal called The Lancet. The article was written by Dr. William Tap. It focuses on medication for patients with TGCT.
