Entrepreneur Paul Herdsman Shares His Expertise and Insights

Paul Herdsman, a successful entrepreneur and COO of NICE GLOBAL (a customer service company based in Jamaica), has participated in an interview with journalist George Baker in order to share how his professional background and business acumen have shaped his overall expertise up to his current position in operations leadership; he also shares the ways in which NICE Global outsources customer and support services to allow businesses to focus on innovation and growth. Expertly training customer service representatives are meant to give cooperating clients assurance that their own customers will be attended appropriately.

Prior to NICE Global, Herdsman was already involved with outsourcing various service types for other large companies. While overseeing options between five countries, he found that Jamaica’s English-speaking population made it a frontrunner for opting to centralize all services there. Upon focusing operations in Jamaica, Herdsman states that he immediately became able to monitor staffing, training, touring and meetings for on-site clients; with the combined efforts of his co-founder, NICE Global was borne and ready to oversee customer retention.

While Herdsman explains the founding and services of NICE Global itself, he also goes onto explain his views on the significance of corporate culture as it correlates to his own workplace. Herdsman states that he believes in the power building a strong core team of employees and providing these employees with the tools and references needed to succeed in their roles and duties. Paul Herdsman also believes in employee growth within the company and hiring for superior roles from within; Herdsman states that employee retention is an important aspect of their overall business model, mirroring their approach to customer service. As NICE Global continues to flourish, Herdsman expresses the company wishes to expand further beyond its current location and position.
