Since 2004, LIFT Foundation has been supporting education and taking care of needy children. Established in Tamil Nadu, India, the organization is the beam of hope for bright kids who cannot access education.
Making LIFT was a method of offering back to the community by the originator Jamel James and board part Niranjan Shah Chicago, both of whom got success from their communities.
Niranjan Shah is currently a successful entrepreneur running his Chicago based companies. Despite being born and spending childhood in a needy home and village without power and running water, he was determined to succeed.
Besides, his family and community offered him a hand of help, and upon dedicating, he excelled academically before flying to the U.S. to advance studies.
Attributing his success from a humble background, Shah is currently one of the major supporters of LIFT.
After completing education in the U.S., he immediately co-established his first company, Globetrotter Engineering Corporation, before later forming Globetrotters International, both of which operate from Chicago with the latter serving abroad customers.

Both are in the engineering and construction sectors.
The organization has engaged in some breathtaking activities, including Midway International Airport’s re-development, development, and planning of McCormick Center, and the Deep Tunnel development, among others. Niranjan Shah Chicago was born in 1944 in a small village, Gujarat (India).
In 1967, he attained a degree from Sardar Patel University, and later in 1971, he did his masters from the University of Mississippi in the same course (structural engineering).
He is likewise a recipient of the Executive Education Program that he attained from Harvard Business School (U.S.). Here, he gained his skills in technical business management.
Subsequent to establishing Globetrotters, he has been associated with magnanimous acts to offer back to the community.
His hand of help particularly to LIFT Foundation has been felt profoundly.
His association with the LIFT comes from his comprehension of how supporting learners can have a striking effect on their lives.
Experiencing childhood in South India was not a stroll in the recreation center. In his village, Shah did not access running water and electricity.
But the support from his family and community empowered him to excel academically.
LIFT is established on three columns: teaching kids, changing the community, and offering leadership skills.
Every year, the establishment picks around 70 students going from elementary to high education category. The models utilized depends on the potent and neediness of the kid. Most of them originate from low-income families, with the large number being orphans.
