Born in the 1970s in Romania, Dan Goman is an entrepreneur and technology innovator. He is the founder and chief executive officer of OWNZONES Entertainment Technologies. When he was seven years old, they immigrated to America, where he taught himself programming and pursued software development at the University of Maryland.

Goman worked at huge technology companies like Microsoft, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies, then went ahead to establish OWNZONES, a platform that allows users to view content from different platforms using a single subscription.

The company was an over-the-top platform at first, but as its technological needs evolved, they had to research and create their own technology rather than wait to be overpriced for other companies. By 2016, their technology was being well received by other organizations, and they started offering their software as a service to other OTT media platforms.

According to Dan Goman, the most important technology invented has been the cloud services, which enables people to work remotely from anywhere, without compromising on efficiency. He says that cloud is the reason why a lot of companies have been able to stand strong through this COVID-19 pandemic, as companies have been able to connect with their employees from their homes and worked as if though were still in the office.Being able to utilize technologies like VPN for long periods of time, something that would not have been possible before the cloud came about.

Companies have been utilizing the company’s cloud-based technology for streaming, so they can continue working from the comfort of their homes. Gorman encourages everyone to embrace the cloud even after the pandemic is over. He advises entrepreneurs to embrace working out not only for physical fitness but mental wellness as well to be able to cope with business uncertainties.
