The former Fork Union Military Academy Football Player stated the t-shirt brand in 1996 at the age of 24 but stepped down as the Under Armor CEO due to lagging sales, but he remains its brand chief. Kevin Plank and his wife, Desiree (née Guerzon), purchased the house at 10405 34th St.Northwest in 2013 at $ 7.85 million. The Plank family, later on, renovated it with Patrick Sutton and Pyramid Builders as the designers.
The over 200 years old mansion was first auctioned in 2018 at $29.5 million and listed as the most expensive mansion in Washington as of that time. However, it was relisted at $ 24.5 million. The mansion includes 8 bedrooms with 8 full bathrooms, 4 half-bathrooms, a third of an acre piece of land, a gym, pool, a massive parking lot. The former Kevin Plank mansion has a total of 3 floors of living space.

Every room has its distinctive theme; one has a shiny black hardwood, and another has seafoam grey calming tones.
