From its beginning date in 1557 to the current date more than four hundred years later, Repton School of Repton Village is one of the longest standing educational traditions in England. The venerable boarding school was launched as a part of the will of Sir John Port back in that year of 1557 from funding that he left upon his passing. The school has built up an impeccable tradition of excellence over the many decades and the centuries that have followed and has become a place where students from 13 to 18 can go to receive a boarding school style education that will provide them with the ability to excel as adults and to attain good placements in universities.
