DANIEL SNYDER A KEEN AND ZEALOUS BUSINESS MAN

September 23, 2020 admin 0 Comments

When Daniel Snyder was 20 years old, he attended the University of Maryland. He decided to start a business and dropped out of college. His new business venture was renting jets and taking college students to Florida and the Caribbean during spring break. How smart what that for a young college student to think of something like that; brilliant! He knew what he desired in life and didn’t wait to finish college to go after it; success!

Dan Snyder next venture was to publish a magazine for college students called Campus USA. He had two investors in that venture, Mortimer Zuckerman and Fred Drasner. This business was not a success and only lasted 3 years. He learned from his mistakes and move on to his next big venture. Go To This Page for more information.

In spite of Campus USA, Zuckerman admired Dan Snyder’s zealous for business and his character so much that he continued to do business with him. His next business venture was to market products for Fortune 500 companies. Mortimer Zuckerman, Fred Drasner and other investors help financed this venture.

At the age of 32 Dan Snyder was one of the youngest CEO of a New York Stock Exchange listed company. Four years later he sold Snyder Communication Inc to Havas, a French Advertising and Marketing Firm for over 2 billion dollars.

A year before Daniel Snyder sold his company to Havas, he purchased the Redskins in 1999. Since he was a child, he loved football and the Redskins, and watched many Washington Redskins’ games with his Father. He generated millions of dollars toward the team’s revenue thru sponsorships, adding more suites, club seats and more. See This Page for more information.

Daniel Snyder had a lot of other successes since he sold Snyder Communication and I am sure he will have many more, what an astute business man.
