August 10, 2020 admin 0 Comments

CEOWORLD Magazine recently interviewed Dan Goman, the founder and CEO of OWNZONES Entertainment Technologies. The magazine asked questions about his transition to SaaS, new trends in his company, and his adaptation to the pandemic. Goman describes his obsession with staying up to date with technology and the trends. Sometimes he adapts to what is on demand, like how he offered a streaming service after learning about Netflix. Other times, he and his team find technical problems and construct solutions to them. His latest obsession is cloud computing because of its customization and easy storage that can be used by families or businesses. Although he admits he has experienced some setbacks because of the pandemic, his services are helping streaming industries adapt with his OWNZONES Connect. He believes that with a laptop and his cloud technology, employees can work from anywhere in the world.

Dan Goman was born in Romania in the 1970s. When he was a child, he and his family moved to the United States to escape from communist oppression. His passion and aptitude in technology showed when his father gave him an IBM computer. He would work on it for hours until it crashed because of limited memory. After graduating from University of Maryland, he worked for various software companies like Lucent Technologies and Microsoft. In 2013, he founded OWNZONES Entertainment Technologies. He helps companies like AT&T Wireless, Lucent Technologies, and Microsoft by making technological advancements. Within a year, with his software and tech team, he developed patent-pending technology. When he is not thinking of the future of software and streaming, he likes to keep his body and mind in shape by hiking, going to the gym, and honing his drone skills.
