Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer, Duda Melzer, is the CEO and founder of EB Capital. Melzer is known as a successful, Brazilian, entrepreneur, and businessman. Prior to founding EB Capital, Duda Melzer was a CEO at Groupo RBS. Groupon RBS is probably the biggest conglomerate in South Africa. Mr. Melzer is an award winning entrepreneur.

In 2015, Duda Melzer  became Entrepreneur of the Year under the Ernest & Young’s Family Business category. Duda was invited to join the Cambridge Institute for Family’s Enterprises List of Leaders.

An article in Wikipedia described Duda Melzer as a hardworking entrepreneur who begins each day at 5 a.m. with a workout. Starting the workday early, makes Melzer energized, getting him focused, and gives him a balanced disposition. Workdays are usually unpredictable. Issues can frequently pop up. Being energized and focussed, Melzer can be very flexible in addressing each problem that comes along.

At the end of each day, Melzer wants to devote the rest of his time to his family. Duda Melzer works hard to balance his work, family, and sports time to have a balanced life. Melzer makes sure he surrounds himself with trustworthy people. Melzer knows his weaknesses, and one person can’t run an entire business by himself.

Duda Melzer has brilliant people in his firm to delegate difficult projects to. Melzer has plenty of confidence in his work staff. Duda Melzer believes the secret to success is creating relationships with key stakeholders who help to quicken the work time. Form relationships with team members and people in all levels of the company.

New things can be brought to life by doing the projects. Good ideas only stay ideas until people act upon them. For  Melzer,  it helps to have great people who agree on the same vision, so they can paddle to the same place. If a company has a very strong mission or purpose, for the same project can give the company a boost. Always remember the answer No is not the end of the line for an idea when trying to promote it. Someone will eventually want to be part of your vision.
