SeaWorld Parks has a new C.E.O., Mr. Marc Swanson. He joined the position with new plans for Orlando parks. Before getting the appointment, he worked in the firm’s different stations since 2004. During that time, the company had other C.E.O.s. The company’s board headed the firm before they had appointed Swanson as the C.E.O.

During a recent interview with Gabrielle Russon of Orlando Sentinel, Marc stated that there was healthy communication between the board and executives of the firm. During the same meeting that Mr. Swanson declared the plans for changing SeaWorld Parks into hotels and holiday destinations. Many of Marc’s plans for the company are the same as those of the former C.E.O.s. Many of his plans are similar to what Manby planned before he exited the position. According to Mr. Swanson, the company will transform its resorts into day entertainment areas. He also noted that SeaWorld owns hundreds of acres in its different parks that need transformation to get more revenue. He said that the company hopes to start operating additional hotels in different areas such as Tampa. The firm might run all the resorts’ operations or hire a third party to do that.

In a previous plan, the company’s management thought of finding a third party to manage the hotels but decided otherwise. Even though most of SeaWorld’s guests are from the neighboring locations, the park management said they earn more from multi-day visitors. Therefore, the company’s parks hope to work with firms that attract multi-day guests.

Mr. Swanson plans to have more attraction sites in SeaWorld’s parks each year. However, the company still has some attraction sites that are yet to be opened. The parks were to open in 2020. SeaWorld acquired several benefits from focusing on the planned additions. It hopes to grow much more than most of its competitors. Learn more: https://www.seaworldparks.co.uk/
