Hopewell Baptist Church began as an Independent church in 1972. Since its initiation, many youths have given their lives to Christ. On Sunday, they have the Sunday school service from 10 AM, morning service from 11 AM, and evening service from 6 PM. The midweek service and adult discipleship service takes place every Wednesday from 7 PM. On Friday, they have the RU service, which starts at 7 PM.
At Hopewell Baptist Church, they believe that their great purpose is to bring the lost souls to God. Another purpose is to salvage those who are straying. They believe that God has a good plan for any individual who had lost their path but chose to get back to Christ. The last purpose is to ensure the saints get equipped so they can grow spiritually.
When it comes to beliefs, Hopewell Baptist Church believes in the Holy Bible. They believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. They also believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who died for everyone on the cross.
Hopewell Baptist Church is currently ministered by Pastor Mike Ray. Recently the state of California allowed indoor services. At Napa, they can host 25% of the members. This is due to social distancing and sanitation protocols. All the other members who cannot attend can catch the services live on Facebook.
When you get to Hopewell Baptist Church, you will receive a warm welcome. Their ushers will show you the appropriate place to sit so you can enjoy being in the presence of God. See Related Link to learn more.
